Partner Assisted Stretching   Description This course has been developed specifically for certified personal trainers working with a vast variety of clients ranging from the pro-athlete, weekend athlete, general fitness client, clients who are in severely deconditioned states, different ages, genders and race. The focus of thie course is to learn how to properly perform partner assisted stretches with a client in the form of PNF and/or AIS. Course is an 8 hour hands-on workshop with a take home exam that will be mailed back within 10 days for successful completion.   Objectives
Identify the anatomy of a joint.
Explain sensory organ function during a stretch.
Identify alterable and non-alterable factors that limit flexibility.
List 5 benefits of a flexibility program.
Assess when a stretching may be contraindicated.
Perform a seven point full body flexibility assessment.
Demonstrate a full body PNF routine using all three methods taught in this course.
List the differences between PNF and AIS principles.
