Balanced Nutritional Approach
 
About ActiveBodyzAt Activebodyz, we believe a balanced nutritional approach is the healthiest way to go. When you hear the word "diet", most people think of limiting their intake of food. All they are actually doing is robbing their bodies of vital nutrients that you need for a properly active metabolism. When you don't eat enough calories to supply your body what it needs to function everyday, your body actually goes into what we call "Starvation Mode" and in turn breaks down your existing muscle tissue and opts to store the majority of everything you eat as FAT.

We will show you how to eat for YOUR needs and goals without limiting your dietary intake. You will have to eat differently than what you have been accustomed. You will never be hungry as our foundation focuses on having meals every 3 hours. We analyze your lifestyle, activity level, exercise expenditures, external stresses, body composition, and current nutritional habits to help you create a nutritional regimen that will become a lifestyle change, not just a temporary thing.

Our rates for Nutrition Counseling are $60.00 per hour session for clients that can visit our facility.

Every initial session consists of client screening which includes measurement of total body weight, body composition analysis (body fat), Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire, and Lifestyle Analysis. Follow up sessions continue with the evaluation of what the client has been eating and keeping a journal of for at least 3 days. We teach clients how to keep food journals and track of calories so that the client can actively see the calories being consumed compared to the actual calories needed to meet the goals set. We continue with further sessions that takes us into the clients home where we can help clients assess healthy foods from junk foods that he or she may be keeping in their kitchen cabinets. We take you shopping to Costco, BJ's (food wholesalers) Publix, Winn Dixie, Whole Foods Market, or other supermarkets of choice and teach you how to analyze and read food labels in order to create a foundation of healthy shopping skills that you will need in order to achieve maximum results. As part of our in home services we will schedule healthy cooking sessions where you will learn how to prepare healthy dishes with your favorite foods, portion them out into adequate serving sizes, and store them for up to 6 days without the risk of food spoilage.

We have arranged for your convenience two packages that may fit some needs more purposely than hourly sessions if you are local or you can enroll in the On-Line Nutritional Coaching Program.

PLAN A: 12 Week Super Fat Loss Blast
Structured for the intense individual that can limit themselves to a monotonous dietary regimen for a period of 12 weeks. It is tailored for someone wanting to achieve maximum fat loss within a 12 week period somewhat to what bodybuilders can do prior to competing - just not as strict.

The Rate for this plan is a flat fee of $325.00. Payment plan consists of a of $125.00 down payment for the first four weeks, remaining balance is charged in two equal payments of $100.00 automatically billed at the beginning of week five and week nine. This plan does not involve any active shopping or home cooking workshops in your home but does not limit you from purchasing any extra sessions for this purpose at any time.

Client meets with us for four sessions during the 12 week period. First meeting is an assessment of Body Composition, Lifestyle Evaluation, Goals, etc. The next 12 weeks are as follows:

PLAN B: 20 Hour Active Nutrition Education Program
This program is tailored for the individual who truly wants to integrate healthy dietary habits into their lifestyle. Remember, eating properly does not mean dieting or starving yourself.

The rate for this plan is $1,175.00 payable in full or in installments of a $325.00 down payment and deposit with three equal payments of $290.00 due on automatic withdrawal every 14th day unless other payment arrangements specifically approved by Activebodyz.

The first session which lasts approximately two hours and takes place at our facility which entails:
Complete current nutritional analysis
Body composition measurement
Total Weight, Fat Weight, Lean Weight Explanation
Activity level analysis
Lifestyle analysis
Introduction of healthier substitutes to replace empty calorie foods
Learning how to read food labels
Learning calorie counts on the Macro-Nutrients
Filling in food journals

During the next four weeks all sessions will be either at the clients home, grocery store, health food store or a combination of all three on a given day. Four (4) hours are billed on each of these sessions and are usually held on the weekends. Clients are taken to the grocery store to learn how to shop for healthy foods, read food labels, pick nutritional supplements. We spend a lot of time in the home for these four sessions teaching you how to cook your meals with ingredients low in fat, sodium, trans-fats and how to portion your meals for the week. You will not only be eating healthier but you will save thousands of dollars in your monthly food expenses when you calculate how much you spend eating out even if its a simple lunch meal!

Online Nutritional Coaching Program
This program is geared for our clients who cannot travel to our facility but still want our services in helping them live a healthier lifestyle thru better eating habits.

The rate for this on-line service is $39.99 a month plus a one time $195.00 initial consultation, nutritional outline development, and two follow up nutritional outline re-assessment package. Monthly dues are billed on the first of every month for one year from date of enrollment at which time re-enrollment is necessary. You may cancel at any time via E-Mail 30 days prior to your next billing cycle.

This service helps clients assess how many calories they should be eating in order to reach their goals and to match their lifestyle. A Personalized Nutritional Recommendation is developed and e-mailed after careful review of completed Nutrition Assessment Questionnaire. Clients can keep food journals daily or weekly and have them assessed for deficiencies and given recommendations. Once enrollment is completed, you have your own password that gives you access to our Nutrition News for the month along with delicious recipes of healthy foods to try at home.
